Returns & Refunds Policy

At Papyrus Treasures, we take great care in crafting each product by hand. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer returns under the terms outlined below:

Return Window:

You have seven (7) calendar days to initiate a return request:

• Shipped Orders: Seven (7) calendar days from the date your package is marked as delivered by the postal carrier.

• In-Person Purchases: Seven (7) calendar days from the date the item is purchased in person.

• We do not accept returns for custom orders.

Item Condition Requirements:

To be eligible for a refund:

• The journal must be in unused, original condition.

• Pages must be clean, unmarked, and free from writing, ink, or damage.

• The journal must be returned with all original packaging materials, ribbons, or accessories.

Items that show signs of use, missing parts, or damage caused after purchase/delivery will not be eligible for a full refund.

Return Shipping & Handling:

• Buyer Responsibility: For shipped returns, the buyer is responsible for paying all return shipping costs.

• We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refund Processing Time:

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:

• Electronic Payments (Credit/Debit Card, Electronic Wallet): Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within five (5) business days.

• Cash Payments: If you paid in cash (for in-person purchases), your refund will be issued via a bank cashier's check for the exact amount paid within five (7) business days.

• Federal Holidays: If the 5-day processing period falls on or includes a U.S. federal holiday, please allow an additional business day for processing, as financial institutions and payment processing gateways are closed on these dates.

Damage or Defective Items:

If your item arrives damaged or defective upon delivery or receipt, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the item and packaging so we can assist you.

Gifts:

If the goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the goods weren't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give it to you later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.
